How These Australians Are Earning PASSIVE Income Online

It’s been a few years now since I escaped my 9 to 5 job and I haven’t looked back. I attribute my success to one method I use to make money online, and one I’ve written heavily about at my other site Digital Nomad Wannabe– and that is by creating your own niche site.

Creating niche sites were the best thing I’ve ever done as they gave me the financial freedom I needed to live the lifestyle I want.

I first began building niche sites in 2014. These two sites generated $5300 USD per month on average in passive income last year. The reason the income is passive is because I only have to work a couple of hours a month ongoing on these sites. Every day, these sites earn money simply by referring people to products on Amazon.

I recently coached a group of people through the entire process. Many of these were Australians’ with no prior knowledge 0f how to build a website, and they are now well on their way to creating a passive income stream through their niche sites.

So, what is a niche site?

A niche site is a broad term that basically describes a site that discusses a topic – or niche. In fact, you could call WorkHomeLife a niche site, the niche being making money from home.

There are loads of different ways to earn money with niche sites, but when I refer to niche sites, I’m referring to a site specially set up to as an Amazon affiliate site.

For those of you that may be unaware, Amazon has an affiliate program where it will pay you a commission if someone makes a purchase when they’re referred from your site.

A niche site is set up purely for the purpose of referring these people to Amazon.

It doesn’t matter if you are Australian, you can still earn money from Amazon in other countries.

Why is creating a niche site a good idea?

Niche sites are my favorite way to make money online. This is because once the initial work is done, the income is completely passive. The website exists simply to get people clicking over to Amazon – and when they make a purchase, you earn the commission. Simple.

I also love building niche sites because you follow a formula. This minimizes any risk that is involved so that you can give yourself the best chance at building a successful niche site.

How long does it take to earn money with a niche site?

The one thing you will need when creating a niche site is patience – the money does not start coming in over night.

I started seeing good income ($1500+) per month at around the 9 month mark. After this, the earnings just kept rising.

Having said this, the initial outlay is very small and you’ll quickly make any money back once the website begins earning money.

Can I create a niche site?

Definitely! Creating a niche site doesn’t require any special technical skills or knowledge.

I recently ran a course, Niche Site Freedom, which went through the entire process, step by step. Many of the students in this course had NO prior knowledge of building a website, yet many have been able to create two niche sites in less than 6 weeks time.
